REMINDER: Family Take Home Project is due Friday. Today we began with our numbers book and some students finished while others did not, which is okay. Please continue tracing, coloring and writing numbers with your child tonight. Tomorrow, we will be pasting our numbers to our booklets. We also began counting our numbers in Spanish today! Yes, the students will be learning counting 0-10 in Spanish for curriculum this school year.
Family Take Home Projects were also placed inside Take Home Folders. Please read directions carefully and everything should be brought back in on Friday. Behavior Charts will be sent home tomorrow in folders. Today we discussed Good choices versus Bad choices. Please help your child complete their worksheets and discuss each choice. Red color is for bad choices and green color is for good choices. Tomorrow in class, we will be talking together about our worksheets. (if you did not complete last night's homework, please bring it back in tomorrow completed).
The Kissing Hand Activity
Inside your child's folder, there are 2 worksheet related to our story today, The Kissing Hand. Ask your child about our story and what we learned about the Kissing Hand. For one of the worksheets, you will have your child trace mom and dad's hand and color it. You may also use paint for a handprint. In the middle of your traced hand, have/help your child draw a heart. For the second worksheet, simply have them write their name and color in the hand. Tomorrow, the students will present who's kissing hand they collected and how it makes them feel. |
